Day 12

Day 12: Keys Bartender | Brodette Nation

Keys Bartender
A comedy podcast from bars in the Florida Keys.

Brodette Nation
Brodette Nation started because I’m passionate about building the next generation of female leaders. I know we can build/empower young Brodettes by providing examples of all types of women and the challenges they go through. I want to help other women become more comfortable in their skin. My goal is to provide a platform to highlight amazing, every day women.

“It’s -20C outside right now, but it feels like I’m really in a Key West bar talking about everyday and more with this live podcast hosted by Jim! Ever wanna try feeling warm while huddled under your Snuggie watching the mercury plunge? Well part of it can include listening to the live antics of Jim and his Key West guests. Sometimes funny, sometimes awkward, always interesting. It’s like I’m really there!”

“Have you ever been to a bar? Of course, you have. Some of you practically live in bars. Then you will love this podcast, particularly EP#28: You’re Balls are Showing. It’s real, raw, and hilarious. So, pull up a stool and enjoy the bar banter. P.S. Not suitable for the thinned-skinned.”

Natassia interviews Melissa Boatwright, another Brodette Vet, a civilian badass, and a woman who doesn’t let the word no, stop her from doing what she thinks is right. Melissa and Natassia waste no time diving into topics like female leadership, dealing with emotions, the art of not being busy, working hard to NOT hustle for your worthiness, and the start of Melissa’s non-profit organization called Battle Tested Veterans. An organization that fights veteran stereotypes and is working to fight veteran discrimination in the work force.

“If you’re a woman in the military, you may just find your tribe with Melissa’s indepth discussions about brodettes in the military! If not, you will learn a whole lot about military life and how those who serve and veterans are much much more than the 2 dimensional models the outside tends to pin them into.
This is a well executed and thoroughly engaging and fascinating podcast! I’m thinking of inviting Melissa to my own podcast to talk about Brodette Nation! Wonderful listen!”

“Natassia Cherne is a force to be reckoned with and an example to other women on how to exhibit strength and authenticity all while being wildly entertaining. This is especially in S1E6 when she talks to Melissa Boatwright. Try to not be inspired as she talks about her non-profit organization, Battle Tested Veterans. #BossLadies”
